Goat’s cheese and chives on gluten-free bread makes a healthy, low chemical snack full of fibre and protein
All my recipes are intolerance friendly and adaptable based on your individual sensitivities.
All are gluten free and cow’s milk dairy free, but our family – like many others – can tolerate goat and sheep’s milk, so those often feature. If you can’t, there is always an alternative.
As for salicylates, amines and glutamates, everyone has their own tolerance levels and this can change over time. Most of my recipes will include foods from the low and moderate food chemical columns, based on the Royal Prince Alfred Allergy Unit guides.
I try to include as many nutritious ingredients as I can, while keeping my family’s sensitivities in mind. That’s why there are always plenty of substitutions – so you too can find a happy balance between keeping your kids healthy and reaction-free. I hope my recipes and shared experiences are a help to you and your family.
